Luc Van Walleghem has more than twenty years of experience as an international tax adviser.
Over the last thirteen years, as an international tax director working for KPMG in Brussels (and one year for BDO), he has advised a multitude of Belgian and foreign companies, private equity firms and family offices and he has accompanied (corporate legal and tax, VAT, personal tax) many foreign companies with the set-up of their operations in Belgium.
He has worked eleven years abroad of which four years were as the head of the KPMG Belgian tax center in New York and seven years in Luxembourg as a director of a subsidiary of BNP Paribas specialising in financial and fiscal engineering.
He travels regularly to the US and the Far East and had participated in several foreign missions of the Belgian government. He has a master in commercial engineering (applied economics) (KUL) and holds a graduate degree in taxation. Luc is assisted by a chartered accountant and a corporate legal specialist (former partner of a renowned lawfirm) who both have more than 20 years of experience
